It just rained, and according to my fancy app, it is best to take pictures of flowers right after rain. This tulip took a beating from the torrents of rain the past few days. Aaron's mom gave me a bunch of bulbs, and two of them have bloomed.

Portland Farmers Market opens!
So I got this really fancy app on my itouch for photography settings. So far, I'm happy with it, but I've only used it once. It gives you all kinds of tips and suggestions for every kind of situation. So hopefully, my "Pictures of the Day" can be a bit more professional/artistic looking.

Aaron will not be very happy with me for posting this. This was a week after cleaning the tub.. a WEEK! I'm posting it not for embarrassment purposes, but the fact that things grow here like CRAZY! After self-doubts of being dirty, I looked online and discovered that this is more of a problem than I thought. It is normal. Apparently many people have mushrooms growing in their shower... sick... sick ..... sick.... Especially having it be only a week after cleaning the tub. I'm not really into cleaning the tub everyday... I mean, once a week was plenty.. I thought.

Girl day. I haven't had one of those in awhile. I met up with Kelly, and we got a coffee and headed to 21st for a pedicure. I did take the camera, although I felt a little funny taking a photo inside. Is that legal? I wasn't sure so I didn't want to push it. Anyway, I now have green toes, just in time for spring!

February 28th
FREE DINNER! After the rush of company, neither of us felt like cooking... One of Aaron's customers is the owner of this place we go play pool when we have friends in town. There is a restaurant in the first floor, but have never eaten there because it's 15-28 bucks a plate. Aaron struck up a conversation, and the owner gave us her business card with "Two Free Dinners." She just asked that if we liked to, to spread the word. Drinks were excluded, only by law, but we had a $50 dinner for $13. Wow... it was.... so...... GOOD! I had Fettucini con Funghi, which reminded me of beef stroganoff, and instead of bacon and beef it was sun-dried tomatoes and fresh mushrooms. Aaron had Prawns with Jalapeno Pesto which was also quite good and very spicy! What a great way to end a great month! Thanks Febraury, here's looking to March!
